Through the Storm

Last thursday, Luzon suffer from the tropical storm/typhoon Milenyo. Around 7 in the morning I have received a text message from Ms. Liza informing that we are not required to go to office unless we have sabit. Syempre at first natuwa ako and I have forwarded the message to my officemates. Then I learned that Kulet was already in the office. Syempre medyo concern ako bakit andun pa rin sya and told Kulet na pagtapos na uwi na sya since dadaan daw yung bagyo sa Metro Manila. Kulet told me na may kailangan syang tapusin. Then the desire to go the office started to light up. But my sanity kept me staying at home thinking that that was the only time I can rest from work. Then the lights went out. That was the last strand, I'm going to the office. Ayoko lang kasing mag stay sa bahay ng pinsan ko pag brownout kasi walang ibang magagawa.

So after an hour I arrived at the office. Then niyaya ko si Bebs who was, unfortunately, at the office din. We have breakfast and kwentuhan and I told her about my decision.

Then pag balik ko sa 26th inutusan ako na magimplement and while doing that Kulet called me and ininvite nya ako maglunch.

So around 11am, niyaya nya na akong kumain, and during that time medyo nagloloko na ang power supply sa building. Scary sumakay sa elevator, and yes nastuck kami sa 19th floor buti na lang medyo marami kami and sandali lang.

So ayun, sa kasagsagan ng hangin at ulan, naglakad kami papuntang Glorietta and we ate at Sbarro. Then we went back again sa office and yes kasagsagan ng bagyo naglakad uli kami.

Unforgettable hirit nya sa akin kahit I know na joke lang when we were in the elevator:"Pagnamatay yung ilaw hawakan mo ako ha?"

So pagbalik namin, si Bebs naman ang sinamahan ko na kumain. Note sinamahan ko lang sya at hindi ako kumain uli. Syempre may kakaibang experience na naman kami...

Me:Dun tayo sa tabi ng windows dun sa may sofa
Bebs:O sige, umupo ka na run.
Me:(pag punta dun sa seat nagdalawang isip na ako since gumagalaw yung glass window dun and masyado na syang maingay, so bumalik ako kay Bebs) Ayoko na dun scary.
After a few minutes tinangay na ng hangin yung glass window..
Bebs:Oh my God (Nx)

Kailangan ko pang iharap si Bebs sa waitress para lang matauhan.

Pagbalik naman ni Bebs sa office tumambay muna ako sa place ni Kulet ayun kwentuhan and everything then nagyaya na syang umuwi sumabay na ako.And yes naglakad uli kami going to Ayala kasi we thought na bukas ang MRT.

Ayun while we were walking uber kulet nya. As in super kulet. Kaya medyo naaaliw ako habang naglalakad kami. Then nung dumating na kami sa station bumalik sya uli sa office kasi may nagyaya sa kanya ng gimik. So parang hinatid na lang nya ako hehehe.

I know hindi appropriate pero masaya ako nung bumagyo kahit na naglakad ako from Ayala to Boni.

Night Out

Yesterday, yung supposed to be lunch out namin ay naging dinner. Syempre medyo napa-isip ako kung sasama ako since umuuwi nga ako ng Pampanga every weekend. Pero because minsan lang naman ito and for some reasons sumama ako. Thankfully, nakisama sa amin ang mga pagkakataon at dumating na yung sweldo namin kahapon.

So around 7 pm, I, Ji,Jae, Josef, Ken and Nice ay nagwithdraw and naghanap na kung saan kami magdidinner. Actually, wala talaga kaming definite plan kung saan talaga kami so naghanap kami kung saan pwede. We ended up in Fish and Co. sa Greenbelt. Sarap ng food sulit yung ginastos namin kahit medyo may kamahalan afterwards dumerecho kami sa Cable Car para mag-inuman.

The whole evening is fun talaga. Labasan ng mga angst sa office. Tas si Josef uber kulet. Hehehe. Basta I am really happy with my officemate barkada.=)

**The Ever Supportive Friends**

Nung nagdecide na ako na hindi manood, I was also setting a dinner for S^2 kaya nung bigla akong niyaya ni Kulet, medyo natorn ako pero I choose S^2 pero syempre my so ever supportive friends mega encourage:

Me:Sige kayo ang pipiliin ko. Tuloy tayo later
Meann: Hindi Je, Go ka na jan.
Ele: oo nga!

Meann:Tinatamad ako eh
Ele:OT ako.

**The Walk**

Syempre naglakad kami papuntang MRT. Walk to remember uli hehehe. Pero nothing special about it. Kwento lang sya ng mga kalokohan nya hehehe.

**In the Moviehouse**

So nung nasa cinema na kami...

Kulet:Gusto mong pagkain?
Me:Hindi ok lang.
Kulet:Drinks?
Me:Libre mo?
Kulet:Ikaw rin minsan lang ako matuwa sa isang tao.

So pagbalik nya, may dala syang drinks at popcorn. And take note share kami sa isang popcorn.Hihihi.

The set up would be romantic if hindi wrestling ang pinapanood namin. Hehehe. Oh well... I'm just simply happy that time.=)

**After Movie Dinner**

Natapos ang show mga 10:30 na, ang we are planning na kumain after so ayun derecho kami sa may McDo sa may St.Francis Square. mga around 1130 na rin kami umuwi.

Wala lang I'm just simply happy. I would never expect that this will happen.=)

John Tucker Must Die

Last tuesday, Meann and I watched John Tucker Must Die, well funny ang movie although corny yung ending. But I'm not disappointed. Hehehe. I just love the movie. Hehehe.

Rae Bautista Must Die

Last thursday naman, out of nowhere, nagmeet kami ni Rae. Wala lang. As in biglaan. I texted her na if she wanted na magdinner kami and I told her na nasa Chowking Edsa Central ako. Pumayag naman sya ang she told me na pupuntahan na lang nya ako. Eh medyo long walk ang Edsa Central from her office so I asked her where exactly she was and pupuntahan ko na lang sya. Sabi nya she was already in Megamall and I told her na puntahan ko na lang sya sa Starbucks. So after 20 minutes of walk, I've arrived sa Starbucks, pero kamusta naman wala ang Rae. I called her again and asked kung asan sya and supposed to be nasa Starbucks sya 20 minutes ago, sabi nya naglalakad na raw sya going to Megamall. Tas I told her na if she can't make it in 15 minutes uuwi na lang ako. Syempre panick mode si Rae so tumawag at nagpahintay ng around 10 minutes and infairness dumating naman sya at last. Pero kairita di ba.

Pero coffee with Rae, is really stress relieving (although ma-stress ka muna ng exag eheheh). I really miss talking about anything under the sun(or moon for that instance). Usapang matters of the heart and all, and yup, I really missed Rae kasi its been a while nung huli kaming nagkita.

Stat-is-Eeks

As a side trip ng lakad ko last Saturday, umattend ako ng Stat-is-eeks, and congrats to the silver BOD for a successful anniv week and Stat-is-eeks.

Infairness, time to bond with mems and former mems. Nakabonding ko rin si Ma'am Ohly lalo na nung kainan hehehe. Syempre Picture galore!!! hehehe

KULET'S GIG

Last week din, nag-invite si Kulet for their gig in Bahay ng Alumni. Actually,wala naman talaga akong plan manood kasi gabi yung oras ng tugtog nila. Eh kaso nung friday, personal akong ininvite at medyo nang-aaway pa si Kulet kaya napa-oo ako.

So after nung stat-is eeks niyaya ko na si JD para samahan ako sa Bahay ng Alumni and imemeet rin namin si Ele at Pau. Ayun since wala pa sina Ele, mineet ko muna si Kulet sa entrance para kunin yung tickets. Tas kwentuhan muna and all. Sa sobrang absorb ko sa pakikipagkwentuhan eh nakalimutan kong ipakilala si JD. Ahehehe.

Ang astig ng performance nina Kulet. Wala lang ang astig ni Kulet mag-guitar. Kulet took my breath away sa astig ng performance nya, lalo na yung the rocker style of singing and in fairness na-appreciate ko and the best part is habang nasa stage sya, Kulet gave me the ok sign. Ahihihi. Yup the usual story of the rocker and fan thing. hehehe. Thanks kina Jd, Ele at Pau sa pagsama hehehe.

and Yes, I officially fell for a rocker...

Welcome to S^2

Last saturday also, first time namin mamemeet personally si Pau. Syempre first impression ko, maangas hehehe. Syempre as an initiation sa isang amboy, pinakain namin nina Ele ng isaw!!! Hehehe.

Tas after nung gig ni Kulet, kumain kami sa Chateau Verde. Di sumama si JD kasi daming arte sa katawan. Ok naman ang food medyo clumsy lang ang service like, nakakalimutan nung waiter yung order namin tas hindi pa namin hinihingi yung bill eh binigay na sa amin (in short pinapaalis kami). Pero fun naman. Bukuhan sessions with Pau and Ele. Nalaman ko na super maarte si Pau sa food and OMG si Ele tahimik?????

Di ba shocking? Si Ele tahimik?? Himagsikan na ito hehehe.

Thanks Ele and Pau for the wonderful dinner. Sa uulitin.

Humanda ka na rin Pau pag natuloy ang galera namin..baka maculture shock ka sa amin wahehehe.

Sayang Meann wala ka na naman hehehe.

Syempre after almost a month kahapon na lang uli kami lumabas ni Meann. Syempre ang babaita nag crave sa Heaven n Eggs. So pinagbigyan ko na sa Glorietta kami magmeet. And syempre forever late ang Meann.

Finding Your "-ness"

*Put Name Here*+ness

Before, back in college, I think I was in my senior year that time when nauso yung paglalagay ng "-ness" sa pangalan at sa kahit anong salita. Wala lang chuva lang kung baga. No significant meaning or what. Kaya medyo nasurprise ako nung ginamit yang "-ness" na yan sa movie na You, Me and Dupree. It gave a lot new meaning in putting "-ness" in your name. According to Dupree, erm, I mean based on my understanding, 'your name'+ness is your qualities that make you unique and special. A lot different from the way we used it here. Hehehe.

Actually the movie is great, I mean, stress reliever sya kasi the whole time tatawa ka lang ng tatawa. Even the supposed to be seryosong scenes may mga funny antics pa rin na nangyayari. Maganda rin yung story, not the usual plot.

Kung napapansin nyo, wala ang aking usual weekend update, its not that I don't have time or I'm busy with work again, Its just that I'm soo exhausted last weekend that wala ako sa mood na humarap muna sa PC. Wala lang parang break lang, 5 days ka na ngang nakaharap sa PC tas yung days ng pahinga mo haharap ka pa rin sa PC.
