Sometimes, even when you are well adjusted you just miss somethings that you used to have..
I miss text-ing people. Either a personal one or a quote or maybe a joke. Kasi naman, text message here is not as popular as in the Philippines and hindi pa basic necessity ang cellphone.
I miss having dinner or talk over an expensive cup of coffee with friends. These were my stress reliever before. I really miss calling some friends and setting up a dinner or coffee when I'm feeling blue or just want to have someone to talk to. Although I have friends here and we usually go out to have coffee every friday, iba pa rin when you are having it with people who have established connection with you.
I miss the showbiz buzz in the Philippines. As jologs as it sounds but yes, I miss the latest and the ka-cheapan ng showbiz ng pinas. Hehehe. This is one of those things that you are so enticed of knowing and then telling it to others. Either you empathize, sympathize or just plain mang-okray.
For some strange reason I miss Enterprise.
I miss watching movies with dear old friends. I miss having the exchange of lait and watevers when watching a movie.
I miss the media people. I miss their pangungulit and their freebies.
I miss Starcom people. I miss the times when there were a lot of laughters, "chismis", the razor back buzz (wahahaha!), the inuman at the garden, the break time whenever we feel like having it, the "division", the sam milby and john llyod moments of Tin Te, the cry me a river of Jae, Ji's magreresign na ako momentS, Lea and Kate's endless battle, Bebs' "I love kuya" moments, and much more. Come to think of it, when I was there, everday there is laughter kahit once or twice a day.
I miss Meann.. terribly.
I miss S^2, I miss the "being true friends kaya I will lait you" moments.
Yay..Homesick attack..
